Leicester Medics Tennis Club
We are a group of around 50 people who love to get together and play tennis. We currently play on both Sunday mornings and Wednesday afternoons, with Sunday being the coaching session and Wednesdays being the free play session, however no matter what session it is we love to play a game or two!
It doesn’t matter whether you’re a seasoned pro or a beginner, our club is friendly and super welcoming, with many socials being organised throughout the academic year (both drinking and non). Last year saw 10 of our players playing at varsity and this year we are hoping for even more people to attend to make it bigger and better than ever before. This year we are also holding NAMS – a tennis tournament between various medical schools across the country, with a large social at the end. Whether you want to play or just attend the social, this will not be one to forget!
Our committee is shaping up nicely for this coming year, with both new and previous committee members. Please don’t be afraid to come and say hello at the freshers fair!
