Medics' Varsity
Medics' Varsity is an annual sports event between Leicester Medical School and Nottingham Medical School. The hosting Medical school alternatives ever year between the two of them. The event usually takes place mid/end of March.
The day will consist of sporting events for all ten medic sports which will be on from 10am to 6pm in the evening, across all the respective sporting venues. T-shirts to commerate the occasion will be on sale closer to the time too! They are only £4 for LUSUMA members (£6 for non-members). Wearing a shirt will help bring the best atmosphere to varsity and help show your support for our awesome sports teams!
The day ends with a big night out! It all starts with sports clubs splitting off to their respective pres, organised by our sports captains. Then everyone meets up in the O2 (when Leicester host) from 11pm and the night will eventually end at 2am. The winner of Medics' Varsity will be announced there to round off the evening. It will be a smashing time, and we need full attendance to make sure that the day and night lives up to its past reputation!
