Who are we? StreetDoctors is a national charity that puts young people at the centre of emergency first-aid provision and empowers them to become part of the solution to violence. Team of young healthcare volunteers including nurses, paramedics and doctors who work in partnership with criminal justice services, schools, pupil referral units, youth, sports and community groups.What do we do? At StreetDoctors we believe knowledge is power. So we empower young people at risk with the skills to become part of the solution to violence, rather than just being seen as ‘part of the problem’. We want to empower those who are at risk of violence, to have the skills to deliver first aid. Teaching young people:

- What to do if someone gets stabbed
- What to do if someones bleeding
- What to do if someone gets knocked out
- How to deliver life-saving first aid
- Organised a national events for all of street-doctors, helping to develop leadership skills
- Fundraise for the charity to develop organisational and team-working skills
- Taught over 200 young people and develop your presentation and teaching skills
- Make a direct impact in these young people’s lives
- Develop your skills and be a role model for these young people
- Have the opportunity to teach sessions
- Be part of a social movement of healthcare volunteers who are invested in ending violence affecting young people across the UK.
