Fond Med School memory: Sports night (even though I don’t play any sports).
Top tip for freshers: Tip numero uno: HAVE FUN, you don’t need to be on top of things from day 1! Tip numero dos: Attend all/most INTROweek events and talk to as many people as you can, it’s the best way to find your group of friends (study buddies, support system, party people etc.).
Sam is taking on a brand new role within LUSUMA this year as our diversity and inclusion officer. He wants to foster a welcoming and open-minded environment for every incoming and pre-existing med student, irrespective of gender, race, sexual orientation, interests etc.
