Hello hello hello, if you are reading this then I am already impressed by your curiosity.
I am one of your ball secretaries for this year, meaning that I am in charge of organising any and all occasions that will have you looking your best for the cameras and selfies. I cannot wait to meet you and learn something new. You will definitely hear me across the room or hall, and hopefully some good things here and there.
I am the oldest member of the current committee, being a fifth year (intercalating). This means that I supposedly have a wealth of knowledge to impart, but realistically means I have the most experience being clueless on the wards and in teaching.
Alongside Gaya, we hope you will have a fabulous time at our events. There are few occasions in life when you can dress to the nine, and we are lucky to chair so many of them in one year.
Kicking off the first time is the formal meal on the Friday of Introweek. A great way to end your first week of medical school (congratulations once again), as you suit/dress up alongside your new peers and potential lifelong friends. More information to come, be sure to read the booklet Toby sends out.
Besides Ball related information, I can provide excellent knowledge on food places in Leicester, and if you need your computer looked at, I really am the stereotype.
