Medics' Squash
Hi there! We're Medics Squash and as the best medic sports club, we can safely say we're a club worth joining! We have a range of abilities from those who've never played before to some who've been playing for years. Our socials are epic and it's a great way to meet new people. So no excuses not to join!
The group is open to all skill levels and it's an easy game to pick up, so even if you've never tried it before come and have a go! Training sessions involved a mix of training drills, fun games and practice matches and we always have music playing creating a relaxed yet vibrant atmosphere.
Every spring, Birmingham Medical School hosts a Squash NAMS (National Association of Medic Sports) tournament, which sees Medical Schools from across the country playing against each other in a friendly competition and Leicester are once again getting involved in 2023! We also have a yearly varsity competition against Nottingham Medical School (as pictured above) which is always competitive but also a lot of fun. These both involve squash during the day followed by a big night out.
Training: Currently TBC as we are moving to new courts in 2023/24 but we'll post info about training and socials on our social media:
