Top tip for freshers: Say yes to things and get involved but remember that you are your own individual so don’t be pressured to do things that you do not want to do. Just kindly decline and get on with your life!
This year Sharon (he/him) will be your hackerman (i.e. webmaster if you want to get all technical). Having been in a long-term relationship with his computer since the start of med school, Sharon has decided to use this role to develop his knowledge on coding/programming. He will be your point of contact if you have any issues regarding the LUSUMA website or app and will happily take into consideration any suggestions users may have to improve their experience.
Outside of med school, Sharon enjoys watching TV shows and playing sports (including chess). He isn’t much of a clubbing/party guy but enjoys going out to spend time with friends and get involved with different activities. At a gigantic 5”7’, Sharon is prepared to play 1v1 in badminton, basketball or even chess if anyone wants smoke.
