Top tip for freshers: If you’re not sure about doing something, say yes! Every opportunity is an exciting time to try something new; you’ll never know how much you may end up enjoying it and who you may meet!
Now in his 5th year of medicine and 3rd year on LUSUMA, it can safely be said that Susmit has experienced almost all medical school has to offer. He is your treasurer this year, but apart from handling the dollar bills you will see him at the O2 (even at his great age) and playing hockey for the university and medics teams. If you need him to show you the money or want any advice in any area of student life, academic or otherwise, he will always be around to help.
Susmit encourages every first year to get fully stuck into student life at Leicester. There is so much on offer it is a real shame not to get involved and a great way to relieve stress! You’re here to study medicine, but also to have fun!!
