Medical Ethics Student Society
Throughout our undergraduate and postgraduate careers, ethics will form the backbone of our decisions and conduct. Medical Ethics Student Society aims to help students integrate theoretical knowledge on ethics into everyday medical practice, highlighting its important in relation to clinical scenarios.
We aim to run regular events aimed at all years, and to cover a variety of themes, all extremely relevant to our practice as future doctors. Staff from a variety of disciplines across the university will come to share their view on topics that they have been involved in, and the society will aid students in submitting posters or presentations to regional or national IME (Institute for Medical Ethics) conferences.
