The time has finally arrived. That moment every Medic dreams of from putting on that stethoscope on their first ward round...the elective! In your head, it is all rainbows and white sandy beaches, until you actually sit down to deciding where you want to go. Alas, fear not! LUSUMA is here to help. We have all the information you need to find a safe, fun elective.
LUSUMA Electives
One of the key benefits of going to a Medical School that has been open since 1975 is that it has a lot of graduates who have done their elective and fancy a little bit of reminiscing about the good (or not so good) times. LUSUMA is working hard with Leicester Medical School to provide as much information as we can to try and make it easier on you.
Funding
So you've got it all figured out! You know which country to go to, have organised a super and you know which beaches are perfect for those winter rays after you've finished in clinic. And then you remember the money. Not to fear! There are so many great funding opportunities open to you! We have listed a few here if you follow the link.

Organising an elective can be a right pain, especially so near to IPE, SJT, VFD and any other terrifying acronyms you can think of in your nightmares. Alas, fear not!
